Carrier Community (CC) is a global telecom club established in 2008 and organizing annual global carrier community meetings in Berlin since 2014 for the members. CC has successfully organised its 4th annual CENTRAL EASTERN EUROPE 2017 GCCM – Berlin on 20th & 21st June 2017 at The Adlon-Kempinski Hotel for its members with evening networking functions. 405+ member executives representing decision makers from 205 companies in 46 countries meet and network in Berlin. The Carrier Members got together from  Data Connectivity, SMS, Mobile, VAS, Application, Voice, OTT,  ISP, IXs, Data Centers and other related segments.

In addition, Carrier Community team has launched the first annual Global Carrier Community 2017 Awards on 20th June in Berlin with more than 60 guests attending the exclusive ceremony and 13 winner companies celebrating their achievements . During the CEE 2017 GCCM, to further improve its club service for its members, CC has launched its new service: CC- Communication APP (CCC) enabling all members to send free messages, make free calls and more. To be able to use this new application, one had to be a qualified and registered CC members and provided us its mobile number. Before joining Expereo Sander worked out of Australia for BT Global Services and Infonet Services Corp. His telecom career started in 1997 with Unisource Business Services and AT&T Unisource in Europe. Nice to know fact: before Sander went into telecom he was a helicopter pilot.

With more than 10 years of experience in Telecommunications, Beatriz is a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. In love with the Netherlands since she did her final thesis on "Information and Communication Theory Group" at the University of Technology Delft (Netherlands). She started working in Orange Spain, supporting and solving DSL incidences. Continuing her career in Deloitte as a IT auditor, she receives later, the Lead auditor degree. In 2008 she began working at Lleida.net in the  Physical Interconnection Department, joining the Routing Team. She enhanced her responsibilities in 2014 when she was appointed Chief Interconnection Officer to develop and to execute Interconnection strategies.

Currently she is responsible for the P&L as well as for redefining the business strategy of the SMS business line; a business line of the utmost importance because of its impact  in the revenue generation, providing  a profitable improvement and a continuous SMS traffic growth.

She has worked in the legal, regulatory and institutional areas of the Telefónica Group at its Lima and Madrid offices, on the implementation of the regulatory framework, including carrier relations. Currently, she holds the position of Executive Director of Fundación Telefónica Perú. Formerly, she was an advisor to the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, where she participated in the process of liberalization and privatization of the sector. She has also been a consultant to Arthur Andersen at its Lima and Caracas offices. She is a faculty member at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a conference speaker at national and international events.

From 2002 to 2004 he was in the same position at RIPE NCC in Amsterdam. Carsten Schiefner then represented Deutsche Telekom as International Coordination Consultant and Telnic as "Registrar Relations and Policy Director" at Telnic. Carsten Schiefner has been a member of ICANN meetings since 1999 and has also been a member of DENIC's eGovernment Board since 1998.
